PART 2

Witnessing Transformed Lives

Over the years, we saw many lives touched and transformed by God’s love. One day, I shared the message of Jesus with my fifth-grade class. A student was moved and accepted Christ, going home to tell her father. Her father, once a missionary himself, had walked away from his faith. Yet through his daughter’s joy, he found his way back and recommitted his life to God.

Years later, while I was sitting on campus, a white pickup pulled into the parking lot, and out stepped Julio. Two decades earlier, Julio had asked David to help him with a student visa to the U.S. We hadn’t heard from him since. But there he was, a Doctor of Theology with a family, back in Haiti to serve his people as the CEO of Teen Challenge Haiti. God’s timing and the power of planting a seed are truly remarkable.

Gratitude in Writing: Grateful individuals writing their names to say “thank you” after attending a shoe clinic held in our home.
David's Workspace: David’s little corner in our home, where he worked on projects that served our mission.
Medical Clinic Lines: Long lines of people waiting at mountain clinics run by foreign teams. Beyond physical healing, they also received the message of Jesus.

Continuing the Mission at Fort Jacques

Our years in Haiti taught us the incredible impact of simply being present and sharing God’s love, one life at a time. Now, as I work alongside Marie-Estelle Avril with Grace Vision Ministries, I see the same potential in the children at our school in Fort Jacques. These kids come from families with very limited resources, and yet they show up each day with hope and determination.

Today, you can be part of this journey. Our school relies on support to provide a safe, loving environment where children can learn, receive meals, and feel valued. Together, we can continue planting seeds in Haiti’s next generation, knowing God will bring them to fruition in ways beyond our imagination.

Faithful Prayer Warrior: A precious soul who consistently prayed for me, a reminder of the deep spiritual connections we shared.
Valued Work Animals: The precious animals that are vital to the livelihoods of Haitian families.

Help Us Support Children in Fort Jacques

While we’ve been blessed in many ways, we’re still facing a shortfall in operational funds for this school year. The yearly budget for essential expenses, including teachers’ salaries, food, and daily operations, is $38,000. With a growing number of students, we need to reach this goal by year-end to ensure that our school continues to run smoothly.

Will you consider helping us meet this goal? A gift of any amount—$25, $100, or even $500—brings us closer to creating a stable and inspiring environment for these children. Your contribution will directly support the teachers, daily meals, and resources that make our school a lifeline for families in Fort-Jacques.

Support the school in Haiti by giving a gift or signing up for a monthly partnership at https://impacthope.ca/haitieducation (CAD and USD)

Thank you for helping us change lives—one child at a time.
