Welcome to the ImpactHope Young Adults Grant
At ImpactHope, we believe in empowering young Canadian adults aged 18-25 to respond to their calling to serve locally and globally. Through the Young Adults Grant Campaign, we aim to provide financial assistance to qualified individuals who demonstrate purpose, need, and commitment to a specific cause.
What is the Young Adults Grant?
The Young Adults Grant Campaign is designed to raise funds to subsidize mission trips for young Canadian adults who are passionate about making a difference in the world. Our goal is to support these individuals in their journey to serve and lead by providing financial assistance for transformative mission experiences.
How Does the Campaign Work?
Grants will be awarded to young adults who demonstrate a keen interest in serving vulnerable communities and utilizing their skillset to make a difference abroad. Grants will start at $750, which will be used to offset the amount of funds needed to participate in our trip program.
- Grant Funds: Grants will start at $750 and may increase depending on the location and applicant.
- Application: Interested individuals must complete a detailed application form. Applications are reviewed and shortlisted based on eligibility and available budget.
- Engagement With Donors: Regular communication with donors through participant stories and impact reports. Video and reflective testimonies are shared to provide insight into participants’ experiences.
- Giving Back To The Community: The campaign will be funded by donors, businesses, and foundations interested in investing in Canadian youth.
- Campaign Impact: Aim to strengthen communities by empowering young adults to serve and lead. Foster a generation of compassionate and community-minded leaders.

Donors can get connected to the Young Adults Grant Campaign by:
- Making a financial contribution to fund mission trips for deserving young adults.

- Sharing the campaign with their networks and encouraging others to join in supporting young adults’ journeys of service and leadership.

Application Process
To be eligible for the Young Adults Grant, applicants must:
- Be aged between 18-25 years old.
- Hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in serving a specific cause.
- Show involvement in volunteering or church activities.
- Provide remaining trip funds, either via personal means or through fundraising efforts.
Interested individuals are required to:
- Complete a detailed application form.
- Outline the purpose of serving and areas of interest.
- Provide references for verification purposes.
- Attend interviews conducted by the ImpactHope team.
Unsuccessful applicants will be contacted with information about trips and an invitation to reapply if they happen to qualify in the future.
- Applications will be reviewed by the ImpactHope team.
- Shortlisted candidates will be selected and contacted based on available budget. (Grants will start at $750 and may increase depending on the location and applicant.)
- Once selected, applicants must provide remaining trip funds, either via personal means or through fundraising efforts.
- Applicants who are not selected for immediate trips will be put on a list to contact in the future for trips and donations.
ImpactHope will organize the mission trip – most likely an internship but may be with a team if possible.
Mission Trips: Mission trips organized by ImpactHope will be to locations such as Kenya, India, Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, or other destinations based on participants’ skill sets.
Project Alignment: Participants will be matched with projects that align with their interests and skill sets, ensuring their service makes a meaningful impact.
Participants are required to:
- Provide a video testimony answering specific questions.
- Submit a written testimony and thank-you statement for donors.
- Using this information, ImpactHope will send a report to donors highlighting the impact of the trip.
Personal Growth: Participants will experience personal growth and development through their service experiences.
Community Strengthening: Participants will contribute to strengthening communities locally and globally.
National Impact: Participants’ contributions will contribute to shaping a compassionate society in Canada and beyond.
Cultural Exchange: Participants will have the opportunity to experience and understand different cultures during their mission trips.
