It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of Scott Blackburn’s passing in Puerto Maldonado.

We are coming together to support Tracy Blackburn and their sons Caleb and Jaxon during this incredibly difficult time. With this fund, we hope to cover the expenses associated with the repatriation of Scott’s remains back to Canada and funeral expenses and to provide ongoing support to Tracy and her sons as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Your generosity and prayers are deeply appreciated as we come together to uplift Tracy, Caleb, and Jaxon.

Tatiana's Story

From a very young age, Tatiana had a heart for serving children. After a short trip to help at an orphanage in Haiti in 2014, she was ready to go all in to serve the less fortunate children of the world. Tatiana was the driving force behind the family moving to Peru, and she loved the children of Peru.

In the summer of 2018, Tatiana Blackburn died tragically in a car accident. To honour her memory, the Blackburns started a fund called Tat’s Kids Peru. This fund was designated for the children at Tat’s Place to support the ongoing operation of the home.
