The Grace Project – Africa (Lusaka, Zambia)

“As we look back over the past year the dominant story has been Covid-19. As we experience Covid fatigue it may be difficult to understand that in these times God is directing your steps – our steps. The changes we have had to deal with have been enormous – classes opening and closing. Ministry partners having to make adjustments in their levels of support because of changes to their employment. It is not what we expected. It’s not what you expected. But in all things the Lord continues to direct our steps.Do we wish things were less challenging? Of course. But in all things as we make our plans He, our Sovereign Lord and Saviour, directs our steps. Please join us in believing God for all we need. We are so thankful for your prayers, encouragement and many gifts. And we are confident that He will continue to direct all our steps for His glory.”  – Brian Winsdsor (Founder of The Grace Project-Africa)

The Grace Project-Africa is a nonprofit NGO registered in Zambia and they are focused on training pastors who are called to serve but have not completed grade 12, due to literacy issues and lack of finances. Do you know that approximately 3 million of the world’s pastors have not received the proper education they need to preach, teach and oversee their churches effectively? TGP-A targets the equipping and training of the estimated 85% to 90% of pastors globally who cannot access a good Bible school education! Their priority is to ensure that Pastors have access to education, providing them with a solid transformational biblical education. This means that there is a great need for more sponsorships and donors to help with education fees. These fees include a study Bible and course books for the double diploma Grace-Based Practical Theology program.

TGP-A needs your help so that they can assist more Pastors which in turn, will impact not only their families but the wider community as well!

Thanks to YOU, our generous donors and sponsors, TGP-A was able to teach 31 students, including 2 cohorts in 2020! Even in the midst of a pandemic and all of the complications surrounding education last year, TGP-A was still able to have 8 students graduate! How amazing!

Tatiana's Story

From a very young age, Tatiana had a heart for serving children. After a short trip to help at an orphanage in Haiti in 2014, she was ready to go all in to serve the less fortunate children of the world. Tatiana was the driving force behind the family moving to Peru, and she loved the children of Peru.

In the summer of 2018, Tatiana Blackburn died tragically in a car accident. To honour her memory, the Blackburns started a fund called Tat’s Kids Peru. This fund was designated for the children at Tat’s Place to support the ongoing operation of the home.
