Unveiling Impact From 2023

Dear Friend,

As I sit down to write this email, I find myself reflecting on the journey we’ve undertaken together over the past year. Each day has been filled with challenges, triumphs, and moments that have reaffirmed our commitment to making a difference in the world.

One particular moment stands out to me – a conversation I had with a young girl in one of the communities we serve. She shared her dreams of becoming a teacher, but lamented the lack of resources and opportunities available to her. It was a stark reminder of the inequalities that persist in our world, but also a testament to the resilience and determination of those we aim to support.

I am proud to share with you our Annual Impact Report for 2023. It is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and passion that each and every one of you has poured into our mission. Through your support, we have been able to achieve incredible things – from providing education and healthcare to empowering women and promoting sustainability.

This report is more than just numbers and statistics. It is a celebration of the lives we have touched, the communities we have transformed, and the hope we have instilled. It is a reminder of the impact we can have when we come together with a shared purpose and a shared vision for a better world.

I encourage you to take a moment to read through the report and reflect on the journey we have undertaken together. Your continued support is what drives us forward, and I am grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for being a part of the ImpactHope family, and here’s to another year of making a difference.

Tatiana's Story

From a very young age, Tatiana had a heart for serving children. After a short trip to help at an orphanage in Haiti in 2014, she was ready to go all in to serve the less fortunate children of the world. Tatiana was the driving force behind the family moving to Peru, and she loved the children of Peru.

In the summer of 2018, Tatiana Blackburn died tragically in a car accident. To honour her memory, the Blackburns started a fund called Tat’s Kids Peru. This fund was designated for the children at Tat’s Place to support the ongoing operation of the home.
